Dear Valued Members

The Cape Town water crisis has escalated to new heights and with Day Zero looming, it’s critical that the tourism industry knows how to plan and prepare.

The JAMMS partners – Cape Town Tourism, FEDHASA Cape, SAACI Western Cape and SATSA Western Cape – have been in regular discussions with the relevant authorities to develop a tourism communication strategy to allay fears and to seek answers and explanations to your questions and concerns.

Join us at this special JAMMS industry session as we engage with the relevant representatives from the City of Cape Town and Western Cape Government.

Here, you will get a first hand account of the current situation, Day Zero and future planning measures by Government.  You will be able to ask pointed questions directly and hear and share initiatives on how to save water and plan for Day Zero.

Please send your top three water savings initiatives and how you are planning for Day Zero to membership@capetown.travel

Your attendance and participation is essential to ensure the sustainability of our industry.

Regards,

JAMMS Chairs

We look forward to a full house and a successful meeting of minds. Hospitality Greetings
